The primary objective of the Cosmetology Program is to prepare students for the state licensing examination to become a licensed cosmetologist. A licensed cosmetologist’s opportunities include working in beauty salons, resort hotels and the opportunity to own his or her own salon.

We utilize flexible scheduling, which may be individualized to meet working student’s needs. The Cosmetology Program takes 1200 clock hours to complete. Following subjects are covered:

  • Hair Shaping
  • Hairstyling
  • Hair Coloring
  • Chemical Waving
  • Shampoos and Rinses
  • Scalp Treatments, Hair Care Rinses
  • Facials including Hair Removal
  • Manicures, Nail Extensions, Pedicures
  • Sanitation, Bacteriology
  • Florida Law
